This is Luke's new chair from Uncle Jake and Aunt Kate. It was a surprise for him when we visited them the other weekend. It will go perfect in his "big boy" room when the baby comes. We would like to decorate it farmish.

Ready
I am so ready for spring. Past ready. I definitely have the nice weather itch. All I can think of lately is warm vacationy places...Outer Banks, Florida, a cruise...anywhere warm and SUNNY! Unfortunately, my husband does not share the same need/desire for vacations as me. Or the same kind. Hhhmmm. We're working so hard to get our house paid down quite a bit this year, but I would love to take a nice chunk of our tax return and help "stimulate the economy". Hey, it's part of my American duty isn't it? (totally joking)
But for now I'll just cruise the Internet for a vacation deal he can't pass up. Wish me luck!

Quick Update
Just a quick update since I haven't been blogging much lately...
- Matt is pouring the sidewalk this afternoon!
- Luke and I are headed out to Anderson with Rachel to visit Jake and Kate for the weekend. I'm really looking forward to it! I'm glad I love my sister-in-law!
- I AM GETTING MY HAIRCUT TOMORROW!!! I can't wait! It's been since the very beginning of January and it is awful! Plus I'm excited because Kate always has super cute haircuts and I am going to her guy. I've never had a man stylist before but I hear he is an amazing hair washer. Yes!
- Luke caught ANOTHER cold. Seems like lately we get over something just to pick something else up. I have decided I'm really going to try to nurse this next baby through the following winter. Luke only got sick once when I nursed him. Pretty awesome.
- I'm pregnancy wise feeling great. Not sure if the tiredness is from the new one or chasing the older one around. I'm getting a cold though too I think. Bummer.
- Luke took an hour and a half nap for me yesterday afternoon. And then he played in his crib for another half an hour. Exciting!
Happy Spring Everyone!

Our New Sidewalk
We decided to put a new sidewalk in the front of our house a few weeks ago. Matt tore out the big cement pads and the fence that was in bad shape and we will landscape that area instead. He is funny. When he gets an idea he wants to do it NOW. Which is why this was done in February.
Greg came over to help Matt break up the cement pads. Boy was it loud! Sorry to our neighbors who were trying to sleep in!
They had to pick up all these pieces and put them in the bobcat to be dumped in the dump truck.
Matt brought dirt over to fill in the hole. The dirt was frozen to the truck so it took a little longer than it should have. Luke liked standing at the windowsills watching all the action.
